News Synopsis

Electric two-wheeler manufacturer, Hero Electric has joined hands with Shadowfax Technologies to supply its electric scooter for the purpose of last-mile deliveries. According to a press release by the companies, the electric manufacturer will convert about 25 percent of Shadowfax's extensive delivery fleet into electric vehicles (EVs). These will be converted by Hero Electric’s NYX HX e-scooters across delivery centers. Further, Shadowfox, which is a crowdsourced platform for last-mile delivery has informed that by the year 2025, it aims to convert 75 percent of its fleet. At the partnership, Naveen Munjal, Managing Director of Hero Electric said: ''This association will aid us in enabling carbon-free mobility in the logistics market and cater to consumer needs of last-mile delivery offered by Shadowfax.” Recently, Electric Mobility is gradually gaining some pace in the domestic market. To promote the use and adoption of Electric Vehicles, both central and state lawmakers are also coming up with new policies lately. Abhishek Bansal, Co-founder & CEO of Shadowfax Technologies after the collaboration said, “We are excited to embark on this journey of electrification of the initial 25 percent of our existing fleet with Hero Electric.''
