News Synopsis

Haier has expanded its smart TV portfolio in India by launching two new OLED TV series — the Haier C90 and C95. Designed for users seeking immersive entertainment experiences with cutting-edge display technology, these models offer premium features, advanced audio, and gaming enhancements.

OLED Lineup Overview: Sizes and Pricing

Haier’s latest OLED TV range is now available for purchase across Haier India’s official website, leading online platforms, and major offline retail outlets.

  • The Haier C90 OLED TV series comes in 55-inch, 65-inch, and 77-inch screen sizes, with prices starting at ₹1,29,990.

  • The more premium Haier C95 OLED series is available in 55-inch and 65-inch variants, starting at ₹1,56,990.

Display and Visual Experience

Both the C90 and C95 OLED TVs use self-emissive OLED panels, known for producing deep blacks, vibrant colors, and higher contrast ratios. The TVs support Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10+, which automatically adjust brightness and contrast based on ambient lighting and scene content.

To further enhance fast-paced content and sports viewing, MEMC (Motion Estimation, Motion Compensation) technology is integrated to reduce motion blur and ensure fluid visuals.

Sleek Design and Flexible Setup

The C90 and C95 models feature ultra-slim bezels for a borderless viewing experience. They also support metal swivel stands, providing adjustable viewing angles to suit varied room setups. The overall design aligns with Haier’s modern aesthetics for contemporary Indian homes.

Smart TV Capabilities: Google TV and Voice Control

Both TV series run on Google TV OS, offering access to thousands of streaming apps, content recommendations, and seamless integration with Google services. The TVs also support hands-free voice control, allowing users to search, play content, and control smart home devices using just voice commands.

Performance and Storage

Under the hood, the TVs are equipped with 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, ensuring smooth app performance and multitasking. Whether it’s streaming, gaming, or switching apps, the hardware setup promises a lag-free experience.

Connectivity and Casting Features

In terms of connectivity, Haier has loaded both OLED series with:

  • Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2

  • Built-in Chromecast

  • HAICAST (Haier’s wireless screen mirroring solution)

  • Bluetooth Sound Cast to stream audio directly from smartphones to the TV speakers

These options ensure a connected and convenient user experience across devices.

Key Differences: C90 vs C95 OLED TV Series

While both series offer premium OLED features, the C95 stands out with enhanced audio and gaming specifications:

Audio:

  • C95: 2.1-channel 50W Harman Kardon-tuned speaker system, with Dolby Atmos and dbx-tv support

  • C90 (77-inch): More powerful 65W sound system, suitable for larger rooms

Gaming Features:

  • C95: 144Hz refresh rate, AMD FreeSync Premium, Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), and Auto Low Latency Mode (ALLM) for pro-level gaming

  • C90: Offers 120Hz refresh rate, suitable for casual gaming but slightly less advanced

Sustainability Features

Both models come with solar-powered remote controls, supporting USB Type-C charging as well. This addition aligns with Haier’s focus on sustainability and energy efficiency.

Made in India and Customer Commitment

Speaking about the launch, NS Satish, President of Haier Appliances India, said:

“With the launch of the C90 and C95 OLED TVs, we aim to redefine the home entertainment experience in India. These models are not only premium in features but also locally manufactured, supporting the ‘Make in India’ vision.”
