News Synopsis

GuardianLink, a provider of the NFT ecosystem, has teamed up with Cadbury Gems, a manufacturer of chocolate buttons, to transform artwork created by children nationwide into Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs). With the launch of its first-ever NFTs through the most recent Junior NFT campaign, Cadbury Gems has announced its entry into the NFT space with this association.

According to Ramkumar Subramanian, co-founder and CEO of GuardianLink, the company is excited to collaborate with Cadbury's Gems and Mondelez on the development of its NFT. He continued, "GuardianLink seeks to elevate the potential of NFTs by collaborating with brands and artists around the world.

Digital collectibles and blockchain technology is gathering pace in India and NFTs are an enabler for us to offer an experience to our consumers. After the online Gems birthday bash, the PlayPad learning application, among others, Cadbury Gems Junior NFT campaign aims to take a step towards leveraging platforms for every child and parent. We aim to host NFT auctions to raise funds for the education of under-privileged kids around the country,” Anil Viswanathan, vice president- marketing, Mondelez India, stated.

The chocolate button company has also teamed up with the non-profit organisation Save The Children to use the proceeds from NFT sales to fund underprivileged children's education, with a particular emphasis on getting them back to school and buying educational supplies, among other things.
