Government Gave Target To Telecom Companies, To Start 5G Service Soon

5G service is expected to start in the country soon. In this episode, the Central Government of India has given a target to telecom companies to start 5G service in the country soon. The government has asked these companies to do 80 percent coverage of 5G telecom service in a short time.

This information was given by the Union Information and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav on Thursday. Vaishnav said in his statement that the journey of 5G connectivity in India is going to be exciting. In many countries, it took years to get 40 percent coverage of 5G, but we will do 80 percent coverage in a short time. It is worth noting that recently the Union Minister had expressed hope that 5G service would start in the country by October.

On Thursday, Union Information and Technology Minister Ashwini Vaishnav said at an industry event in New Delhi that the journey of 5G connectivity in India is going to be exciting. We are working to connect most of the regions of the country with 5G connectivity in a short span of time. He said that it has taken years for many countries to have 40 to 50 percent coverage, but we will definitely have 5G connectivity coverage in 80 percent parts of the country in a short time.

He has asked telecom companies and infrastructure providers to work on fast 5G connectivity and to achieve 80 percent coverage in a short time. Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnav recently said about 5G that we are planning to start 5G services fast in the country. Telecom companies are working in this regard and technical installations are being done. The Union Minister had expressed hope that the 5G service would start in the country by October. After that it will be expanded to other cities and towns.
