On Wednesday, Google Cloud and other data, analytics, storage, and database firms in the Tech Industry informed that they are creating a new Data cloud alliance in order to provide swift access and insights into data to global companies. US-Based Tech Giant Google further informed that as founding members of the Data Cloud Alliance, Google Cloud, Accenture, Confluent, Databricks, Dataiku, Deloitte, Elastic, Fivetran, MongoDB, Neo4j, Redis, and Starburst are ready to commit to make data more portable and accessible across business systems, platforms, and environments. Their aim is to ensure that accessibility to data never becomes a hurdle in the ever-evolving Global Digital Transformation.

Vice president of Databases, Data Analytics and Business Intelligence at Google Cloud, Gerrit Kazmaier said: “Data is the common foundation for all digital transformations. By committing to open data standards, access, and integration between the most popular data platforms and applications today, we believe we can significantly accelerate business transformations and close the data to value gap.” Google Cloud further said that it is witnessing lots of momentum in India and that the adoption of its data cloud services was increasing this growth.
