News Synopsis

Google is introducing a new feature for Chrome browser called, ‘Journeys’. The new feature will allow users to resume past searches in the Chrome browser and will let users revisit past exploration grouped by topic.

Once the user types a related word in the search bar and clicks on ‘resume your research’ or visit the Chrome history journey page, you see a list of relevant sites that the user visited and can pick up from where left off.

Product Manager at Chrome, Yana Yushkina said that the new feature will take into account how much you have interacted with a site to put the most relevant information in front of the user along with the suggestions on related searches that the user might want to try next.

The feature is released for Chrome desktop on any OS in English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Dutch, Portuguese and Turkish. The company is also allowing users to get more things done from the Chrome bar. The new Chrome widgets for Android users can also start a text search, voice search, Lens search or open an Incognito tab right from the home screen.
