Google to Bring Picture-in-Picture Mode for Meet App

Google recently previewed the picture-in-picture feature for the desktop version of Google Meet on Chrome. This feature is now rolling out to a select group of Google Account users soon. The search engine giant has officially confirmed the rollout of the new PiP for Meet on Desktop via an official blog post pinning multiple videos feeds. 

According to this post, this feature will be available for all Google Workspace customers as well as legacy G Suite Basic and Business customers as well as personal Google Account users over the next 15 days.

Additionally, the post states that the PiP feature on Google Meet Web via Chrome will allow users to view four of the meeting's participants in a video tile at once in a popup window, as well as any other PiP like the mode, users will be able to move the popup window according to their convenience and they can also change the size of the window.

To enable PiP mode while using Google Meet on the web, users need to click on the three dots next to the Hangup button at the bottom and then click on the option 'Open picture-in-picture'. Additionally, users can now pin multiple videos feeds at once, allowing them to combine content and people as they wish.
