After Amazon, Meta, and other major tech companies, now Google and Intel have also decided not to attend the ‘CES 2022’ in-person in Las Vegas due to the surge in the Omicron case.

The Google spokesperson said that they have decided not to attend the event after careful consideration and carefully monitoring the development cases of the Omicron variant. For the health and safety of their team, the company has decided that it is best if they do not attend the event in person.

CTA (Consumer Technology Association), the governing body of CES has said that there are still more than 2,200 companies that are willing to attend the CES 2022, in-person. CES is the most influential tech event in the world. CES 2022 is expected to showcase some of the first-time innovations in Blockchain-based NFTs, remote health solutions, self-driving cars, gaming, food, and space tech.
