Geniemode Raises $28 Million in Series B Funding Round

Geniemode, a B2B technology platform for lifestyle products, has raised $28 million in Series B funding led by Tiger Global. Existing investor, InfoEdge Ventures also joined the round that took place four months after the company's $7 million Series A fundraiser.

Founded in May 2021, Geniemode works with buyers and manufacturers of furniture, home textiles, apparel, and accessory to streamline and manage the entire supply chain from design to delivery.

The startup works with more than 150 manufacturers in India and Southeast Asia. It operates in the USA, UK, Latin America, Europe, Australia, and with other marquee international retailers.  

The company, headquartered in Gurgaon, said in a statement that it plans to achieve a GMV run rate of over $200 million annually by the end of FY23. With this capital, the team plans to deepen its penetration into major international markets. It also plans to strengthen its supplier base in India and Southeast Asia.

The CEO and co-founder of Geniemode, Amit Sharma has said that the company intends to increase its global presence with new offices across the USA, UK, and EU by expanding its sales and operations team. He also said that Geniemode aims for the United States to be one of its key territories in the future.
