News Synopsis

Geneva Motor Show which was cancelled in 2020 and 2021 due to the pandemic and lack of participants has officially confirmed the dates for 2022. The show will be in the normal physical form and dates are set between February 17 and 27. The event is expected to be a return to normality.

The Geneva Motor Show was cancelled in 2020 but was told to return in 2021 with a few changes in its format. It was expected to be a physical and virtual event keeping in mind the guidelines of Covid-19. There is still no information about the auto manufacturers attending the event.

The event was sold to Palexpo SA after the Foundation of Geneva International Motor Show turned down a 14.1 million pound loan from the state of Geneva. The new organisers of the event promised to keep the new format as an evolution of the past events.
