Gautam Adani Becomes the Sixth Richest Person in the World

The founder and chairperson of the Adani Group, Gautam Adani becomes the sixth richest person in the world. Mr. Adani overtook Oracle’s Larry Ellison and Google’s Sergey Brin and Larry Page to reach this spot. As per the Forbes’ Real-Time Billionaires list, the net worth of Adani is  $116.3 billion. The net worth of Adani surged by more than $16 billion than last week when his net worth was around $100 billion. This is the highest spot Adani has ever reached on the Forbes Billionaires’ list.

He recently overtook Reliance’s chairman, Mukesh Ambani to become the richest person in India and Asia. Earlier, Gautam Adani overtook Ambani for short period in February. Currently, Mukesh Ambani is the tenth richest person in the world with a net worth of $99.5 billion. CEO of Tesla and SpaceX Elon Musk continues to be the richest person in the world followed by  Amazon’s founder Jeff Bezos. The list also includes  Louis Vuitton group’s Bernard Arnault, Microsoft’s Bill Gates, Berkshire Hathaway’s Warren Buffet, Google’s Larry Page and Serge Brin, and Oracle’s founder Ellison.
