Former Paytm Money executives, Rajat Mehrotra and Sharad Agarwal have joined the Crypto payment gateway startup Transak. The company in its statement announced that Rajat Mehrotra has been appointed as the head of engineering and Sharad Agarwal as the head of product, design, and data. Both of them will be bringing their expertise in customer adoption and rich experience to Transak. Transak was founded in the year 2019 by Sami Start and Yeshu Agarwal. It plans to make Web 3 accessible to the Indian market. Mehrotra and Agarwal will play a pivotal role in empowering and enabling the Dapps built worldwide. At the appointment of Mehrotra and Agarwal, co-founder of Transak, Sami Start said: “We are delighted to onboard the finest tech leaders from India with whom we share our passion for simplifying crypto transactions in Indian and International markets. They come with a combined experience of 35 years to elevate our vision to boost crypto adoption and tap into the true potential of India as an early web3 adopter."
