News Synopsis

The market capitalisation of Ford Motors has raised to $100 million for the first time ever. With a spike of 4.6%, the total valuation of the company crossed $102 billion on January 13.

The surge came after a week the company announced its plans to double the production of the F-150 Lighting electric truck, which will be released later this year. The company decided to soar up the production after it received more than 200,000 reservations for the electric truck with $100 deposits.

Ford is also planning to boost the production of its Mustang Mach-E to 200,000 vehicles per day by 2023. But it is also believed that the F-150 will be the best-selling vehicle in the USA.
