Ford Aims to Become the Second Largest EV Manufacturer Within Two Years

Automaker Ford is aiming to become the second-largest electric vehicle manufacturer within two years. The top company executive released a statement on Friday saying that the company is planning to achieve this goal with the production of nearly 600,000 units. Lisa Drake, chief operating officer of Ford North America has also said that the company is working with the five global battery suppliers for the manufacturing. Ford along with BMW is working with Colorado-based startup, Solid Power for the production of solid-state batteries.
