On Saturday, well-known singer Naomi Judd, who was also a five-time Grammy Award winner passed away at the age of 76. A day later Naomi Judd was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame along with her daughter Ashley Judd as part of "The Judds duo". Her daughter Ashley Judd, on the microblogging platform Twitter, said, "Today we sisters experienced a tragedy. We lost our beautiful mother to the disease of mental illness. We are shattered. We are navigating profound grief and know that as we loved her, she was loved by her public. We are in unknown territory." Naomi and her daughter, Wynonna, started singing together as professionals in the early 1980s.

News agency CNN further reported that together, both of them gave a series of major hits, including "Mama He's Crazy" and "Love Can Build a Bridge," selling more than 20 million records. Their first single, "Had a Dream (For the Heart)," released in the year 1983, reached No. 17 on the Billboard country chart. According to the website, the duo’s next single, "Mama He's Crazy," became the No. 1 song on country radio, and won The Judds their first Grammy in the year 1984.
