Fanztar raises Rs 5 cr Seed fund

News Synopsis

On Wednesday, a web3 platform, Fantzar informed that it in its Seed round of fundraising, has raised Rs 5 crore. This fundraising round was led by India Quotient. The latest round of funding also witnessed the participation of ShareChat Founders - Ankush Sachdeva, Bhanu Pratap Singh & Farid Ahsan, Sarthak Misra, Manohar Charan, and Tarsame Mittal.

The company was founded by Himanshu Garg and Sahil Singla. The company further informed that it intends to use the capital raised to fund the development of products and towards the growth and expansion of the business.

After the successful round of funding, Himanshu Garg, Co-Founder & CEO, Fanztar commented, “We are heading towards a future where web3 will upend business models across industries. For the first time, fans now have an opportunity to become part of the value creation journey of a creator, enabling them to become active players in the process rather than be passive consumers of content. For creators, we are opening up a new channel of monetization, engagement, and advocacy in the form of incentivized fans”.
