Exports Rise Continues For 11th Month

India has seen continuous growth in exports, according to provisional data released by the government, India’s exports have been on the rise for the past 11 months, it has risen at 42.33% at $35.47 billion, these include all kinds of merchandise goods and services. 

The government’s data confirms that merchandise exports have risen in a positive light at $35.47 billion in October 2021, an increase of 42.33%, which stood at $24.92 billion in October 2020. This data also stands in coherence with an increase in imports as well, the merchandise imports excelled at 62.47% at $55.47 billion from $34.07 billion in October 2020. 

Along with these data published earlier this month, there have been official data available on the country’s trade deficit, the trade deficit in October 2021 stood at $19.9 billion and in the period from April-October 2021, the trade deficit stood at $98.71 billion.
