News Synopsis

The most popular microblogging platform in the world, Twitter, has now surpassed Elon Musk in terms of wealth. As soon as he assumed leadership, Musk fired a number of senior executives, including the CEO, Parag Agarwal.

Elon Musk, the CEO of Tesla, acquired it on Friday before Twitter's deadline for acquisition. Both Twitter's CEO Parag Agarwal and CFO Ned Segal were reportedly fired only after Musk became the company's owner, according to the news story. Additionally, he reportedly was expelled from Twitter's corporate offices. Vijaya Gadde, the head of Twitter's legal department, is also among the senior executives let go.

Top Twitter executives including Parag Agarwal, Ned Segal, Vijaya Gadde were the targets of Elon Musk for a long time. There was a war of words and war between him and Musk before the acquisition of Twitter. That's why Musk first left them as soon as he acquired this social media site. According to media reports, when Elon Musk's deal with Twitter was completed, then CEO Parag Aggarwal and Segal were in Twitter's office. He was thrown out of Twitter headquarters shortly after.

On April 13 of this year, Musk declared his intention to purchase Twitter. At $54.2 per share, he proposed a $44 billion price for the deal. But because of Twitter's false accounts, there was a gap between the two parties, and on July 9, they chose to back out of the agreement.

Following this, Twitter brought a lawsuit against Musk before a US court. The Delaware court ruled that Twitter's agreement must be finalised by October 28. Musk startled everyone on Wednesday when he showed up at the Twitter office carrying a sink.
