Elon Musk to Address Twitter Employees in a Virtual Meeting

News Synopsis

Tesla CEO Elon Musk will address the employees of the social media platform Twitter for the first time on Thursday. The billionaire had offered to acquire Twitter for $44 billion. This will be his first meeting with Twitter's employees and officers since the announcement of Twitter's acquisition in April. The meeting will be held at the Town Hall where he will answer questions from the staff.

Tesla CEO Musk had made up his mind to buy Twitter in April this year. However, after several disputes with the company regarding the number of fake accounts, they have postponed the purchase agreement for the time being. 

Earlier, Twitter Shareholders had also sued Elon Musk. Shareholders allege that because of Musk, the share price is continuously declining. Musk is accused of deliberately undercutting the share price. Twitter staff have many doubts about Musk. Many employees also opposed the deal. In such a situation, from this virtual meeting, Musk can also reveal many things about the deal.
