Electronics And Handsets Face Shortage On Diwali

The demand for electronics and smartphones has increased during the Diwali season, not only this year but it happens almost every year. People prefer buying new things during the festivals. However this year the supply for these products is 15-30% less than demand. The high in-demand brands like Apple iPhone and Samsung phones are either out of stock or are low on supply. It is believed that this is happening because of the Navratri sales that were held by online shopping websites.

Another reason for the shortage is said to be the delay in delivering the products. Apple's own online store is taking around a week to deliver a phone. Not only this, but the store also shows the latest iPhone 13 Pro model to be out of stock. Where Apple and Samsung have decided not to say anything on the issue, Xiaomi has come forward to say that they are planning to work with various vendors to supply as much as possible. 

Recently, the news regarding the chip shortage has been coming out, which led a lot of manufacturing companies to cut their output. The shortage in the electronic market can be a result of the chip shortage that the electronic industry is facing right now.
