Dunzo's Reliance-Backed B2B Logistics Arm Is Now On ONDC

Reliance retail-oriented Dunzos B2B logistics arm, Dunzo for Business (D4B) recently announced its collaboration with the government's Open Network for Digital Commerce (ONDC) to offer last-mile delivery services for local companies that are on the ONDC network.

D4B operates a fleet of 75,000 delivery partners, bringing more than 20,000 merchants with customers, and processing millions of orders each month. GrowthFalcons is among the first companies D4B has served through ONDC.

"We are delighted to have a reliable logistics company like Dunzo to Business as part of the ONDC network. This partnership will help us accelerate initiatives to bring last mile logistics available to a wider market of sellers and buyers throughout India," said T Koshy the CEO of ONDC.

The main D4B merchants are Fynd, Wellness Forever, DotPe, EatClub and Magicpin and many more.
"Starting our journey with the most important metros, we'll expand our offerings to additional cities, and will become the central point for deliveries within the intra-city Indian electronic commerce ecosystem" said Dalvir Suri, Co-founder, Dunzo and the Head of Dunzo for Business (D4B).

Dunzo is in one of the eight most populous cities of India and has more than the 10 million people who use it. It is supported by Reliance Retail, Google, Blume Ventures, Aspada Investments, LightBox Ventures, STIC Ventures and 3L Capital, among others.

With ONDC, an Unified Payments Interface (UPI)-type initiative of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry to encourage open networks, the government is working to establish the world's largest open and interoperable platform, in an effort to end monopolies in e-commerce and create a more democratic digital market by bringing micro, smalland medium-sized businesses and small-scale traders online.

Dunzo in the past, raised $240 million to increase its reach in India.ONDC recently joined Go Frugal, Paytm, Digit, PhonePe and Loadshare as well as other. The e-commerce platform Snapdeal will debut at ONDC in the month of March.
