Dongfeng Warrior M18, China’s EV version of the Hummer EV

China is planning to bring out its own version of Hummer EV, which is also known as the Dongfeng Warrior M18. It comes with a 1,070 HP power capacity. Dongfeng Motor Corporation did a great job of reinventing the original AM General vehicle with both civilian and military applications well factored into the design.

The latest car is resembling the Hummer H1 model. According to the reports released in China, the car will equip with electric motors that can deliver up to 800 kW with a possible top acceleration from 0-100km/h within 5 seconds and a 500km range for vehicles. 

The company is planning to start the manufacturing of the new Warrior M18 in its brand new factory, which is currently under construction. The car is expected to be priced cheaper than comparable electric trucks that are already available in the global market, especially in the USA.

It is yet not confirmed if the company will export the Dongfeng M18 outside China as it already has a massive demand for such electric vehicles within the country only.
