News Synopsis

On Thursday, Curefoods a cloud Kitchen Company announced that it has acquired a major stake in Frozen Battle. Curefoods has previously acquired brands such as EatFit, YumLane, CakeZone, etc. The company in its statement after the acquisition said: “More snack-based brands are expected to augment the Frozen Bottle portfolio to cater to a wider audience with varying needs, both via physical and online channels. Curefoods also aims to expand Frozen Bottle’s footprint taking it to a total of 50 cities with over 250 outlets." Curefoods was founded by  Ankit Nagori in 2020. It is present in 15 cities with 150 kitchens. Frozen Bottle a milkshake brand offers thick shakes, milkshakes, and ice cream jars. It is present in 25 cities with 110 outlets. Chief business officer at Curefoods, Gokul Kandhi said: "This partnership will also help us improve our supply chain as we consolidate our position as India’s largest online dessert company.” Frozen Bottle was founded by Pranshul Yadav in the year 2017. Curefoods recently announced its merger with Mumbai-based Maverix. They also acquired the franchise rights of US-based pizza chain Sbarro.
