Byju's-Owned Aakash Eyes 60-70% Growth in FY23

Aakash Educational Services (AESL), a leading test preparation service owned by Byju’s, is confident of 60-70% growth this year as market demand, employment, new centers are added, and increasing student enrollment, a top official said.
AESL's positive comments are gaining momentum as the reopening of schools and colleges in offline mode has hit the business model of many new generation education and engineering startups.
Abhishek Maheshwari, CEO of Aakash Educational Services, said AESL will continue to see strong growth in student enrollment, centers, and other key indicators, and will hire 2,000-3,000 staff over the next 12 months.
Aakash plans to add 50-60 new centers by next year to meet market demand. Currently, there are about 300 centers, and it plans to expand the space to 100 centers in the coming months.
Aakash Educational Services Limited has hired 4,000 new staff in the last nine months, totaling over 8,000, and hiring 2,000-3,000 in the next 12 months, increasing in order to meet the requirement of growing student count.
