boAt and Dixon Technologies Announce a Joint Venture

boAt the ear wear brand and electronic manufacturing firm Dixon Technologies have announced a 50:50 joint venture for the manufacturing of wireless audio products. Together both the companies will invest in evolving the Indian mobile accessory market, paving a way towards ‘Make in India.’

The Co-founder and Chief Product Officer at Imagine Marketing Pvt Ltd, the parent company of boAt, has said that domestic production will help in enhancing India’s share in the global market and will contribute to the vision of Atmanirbhar Bharat. It is also a milestone in boAt’s journey to establish a manufacturing base in India.

The association will allow the companies to meet the evolving needs of customers with high-quality and aspirational lifestyle-focused hearable solutions.
