In India, BMW Motorrad unveiled the brand-new 2023 BMW S 1000 RR sports bike with the BMW CE 04 Luxury Electric Scooter. In order to assess consumer reactions and establish if it would be possible to bring such a machine to the Indian Market, BMW sent in the BMW CE 04 for testing. A maxi-style electric scooter with a modern electric drive train and Futuristic Design Language is the BMW CE 04 BMW. The gigantic scooter features an electronically controlled peak speed of 120 kmph and a stated electric range of 130 kilometers.

After the BMW C 400 GT maxi-style ICE scooter's business potential, the BMW CE 04 luxury electric scooter was launched in India. With the launch of a comparable large and ultra-premium electric scooter in India, BMW Motorrad, the motorcycle branch of the Bavarian Automotive Giant, is trying to replicate the success of its ICE-powered ultra-high maxi scooter.

The BMW CE 04 blends cutting-edge, futuristic styling with an Eco-Friendly Electric Powertrain. By using floating panels, simple graphics, an exposed rear wheel, contrasting orange highlights, etc. BMW Motorrad has integrated sci-fi-inspired Beautiful Design. An 8.9kWh battery pack and a 20hp liquid-cooled PMSM power the high-end e-scooter. On a single charge, the range is said to be about 130 kilometers. The vehicle has an electronically limited top speed of 120 kmph and speeds from 0 to 50 kmph in 2.6 seconds.

A 2.3kW charger can fully charge the BMW CE 04 from zero to 100 percent in 4 hours and 20 minutes. Additionally, the CE 04 can be charged in 1 hour and 40 minutes using a 6.9kW fast charger. In fact, the car has ABS, two 265mm discs up front, and one at the back. Traction control is part of safety. The scooter weighs 231kg and has a sitting height of 780mm. In keeping with its brand, BMW Motorrad is expected to bring along some unique accessories for the CE 04 and its buyers.

By scooter standards, the BMW CE 04 is well-equipped in terms of features and has useful extras like a ventilated Mobile Charging compartment with a Type C Connection. Storage space for helmets is also visible under the bench-like seat. Additionally, the e-scooter has a 10.25-inch HD TFT infotainment screen similar to those in cars, which includes features like Mobile Phone Connectivity, split-screen viewing, constructed navigation, and more. The three riding modes offered by BMW are Eco, Road, and Rain.

The BMW CE 04 has a tubular structure and a preload-adjustable rear mono-shock in addition to a 35mm telescopic fork up front. Additionally, it makes use of one exposed swing arm. The 15-inch wheels that the BMW CE 04 is placed on have 120-section rubber up front and even thicker 160-section rubber at the back.

Even though the business has still not disclosed its intentions for the BMW CE 04 Electric Scooter in India, the corporation has found success with its other specialty, the Rs 10+ lakh ICE scooter. Vikram Pawah, the president of BMW Group India, and other Senior Business Leaders were quoted as saying previously that they thought the Indian market could support an ultra-premium electric maxi scooter. Nevertheless, if the BMW CE 04 does come, it will probably do so via the CBU Route. The e-sticker scooter's price may go as high as Rs 20 lakh, which would put it perilously close to BMW's own R 1250 GS adventure tourer bike in India.
