BlissClub Raises $18 Million in Funding led by Eight Roads

News Synopsis

BlissClub, an active lifestyle clothing brand for Indian women, has raised $18 million. Out of this raised $15 million in a Series A round led by Eight Roads Ventures and Elevation Capital and raised $3 million in debt from Stride Ventures.

The company has grown 25-fold in just 10 months, moving from the May 2021 seed round to the current Series A in less than a year. The company said it will be one of the fastest brands to reach Rs.100 crore annual recurring revenue (ARR) milestone in India.

The funds will be used for research and development and product development used to unlock growth channels such as BlissClub's apps and offline. The company also plans to double the size of its team, increase the number of employees, and hire all functions including engineering, marketing, business, operations, and product design.

BlissClub was founded in 2020 by Minu Margeret as a community-first brand. Margaret, an ISB graduate, and the ultimate national-level Frisbee player worked for brands such as PhonePe, ABInBev, and HUL before founding BlissClub.

BlissClub grew 45% per month with just 10 products, supported by a growing customer base. The company said it focuses on innovation and the creation of great fabrics while solving certain problems women face and building a portfolio of hero products only.
