Bill Gates announced his new book, "How to Prevent the Next Pandemic" 

Bill Gates has announced his new book, "How to Prevent the Next Pandemic", which will be published in May 2022. The Microsoft co-founder revealed the title of his new book in a post on his long-running GatesNotes blog. 

The book will be published through Knopf in the USA and Penguin Random House internationally. The book talks about how the world can prevent any future pandemic. It describes specific steps for how society can prevent future pandemics and provide better global healthcare.

The book also includes lessons from his conversations with public health leaders, including chief medical advisor to the President, Anthony Fauci, and the leader of the United Nations Health Agency, Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus.

In a video accompanying the announcement, Bill Gates said, “we are not as close to the end of this pandemic as we would like but we have learned a lot about how to stop this happening again. He further said that if we make the right choices and investments, the world can make Covid-19 the last pandemic.

Ever since leaving Microsoft, Bill Gates has been involved in raising awareness about the need for good health care and the threat of climate change through the Bill & Melinda Foundation. He has been vocal about the importance of vaccines ever since the emergence of Covid-19. His foundation has also pledged $2 billion to fight the spread of this virus.
