Bengaluru to Host IGIC for Startups from June 2

News Synopsis

The India Global Innovation Summit (IGIC), an international conference for startups, will be held in Bengaluru from Thursday. The first edition of IGIC is being held by strategic consultant Smadja & Smadja with the support of the Karnataka Digital Economy Mission and its founding sponsors, Catamaran Ventures and Tata Digital.

In a statement the organizer said, the first conference will be attended by more than 80 speakers from countries such as India, Singapore, Israel, Switzerland, the United States, Japan, South Korea, and Germany.

The two-day conference will feature 22 sessions with more than 40 international speakers discussing issues related to entrepreneurs, innovators, and top venture capitalists. Karnataka Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai is also expected to join the conference as the chief guest.

Other notable speakers include Karnataka IT Minister, C.N. Ashwath Narayan, co-founder of Infosys Limited, N.R. Narayana Murthy, and Paul Saffo, technology forecaster, and Professor at Stanford University.
