Awiros, a deep-tech startup, raised $7 million in Series A funding on Wednesday. According to the company, the funding round was led by Inflexor Ventures and Exfinity Venture Partners, with participation from VedaVC, leading family offices, and ultra high-net-worth individuals (UHNIs). The startup provides a video AI marketplace called Apps, which aims to help customers discover and adopt technology solutions.

“This funding round will help us build further momentum for global growth by increasing our market share, streamlining technical operations and investing in the R&D of existing and new product categories,” said Awiros CEO and co-founder Vikram Gupta.

He added that bringing on board seasoned deep-tech investors Inflexor and Exfinity would allow Awiros to benefit from their extensive experience in technology, international business, and scalable go-to-market strategies.

This round of funding will enable Awiros to hire more people in India and the United States for technology and sales-related responsibilities. The market for video AI solutions in automation, safety, and process monitoring is expected to reach $27 billion by 2030, according to the company.
