Australia to open its border from February 21

Prime Minister of Australia, Scott Morrison announced on Monday that the country is fully going to reopen its border from February 21. The country has been following strict border policy since the onset of the pandemic. To keep a check on the spread of coronavirus the country suspended all international flights and allowed only a small number of skilled migrants and students to enter the country in late 2021 when the situation came under control. Now the country has decided to allow vaccinated travelers to enter the country. After the PM of Australia made this announcement, the share price of airlines and businesses related to tourism increased significantly. This decision comes when the number of daily cases has decreased by a huge margin and the situation seems to be in control.
