Asus Unveils AirVision M1 Smart Glasses at CES 2024, Enters the Eyewear Tech Arena

Taiwanese electronics giant Asus has stepped into the eyewear tech race with the debut of its AirVision M1 smart glasses at the Consumer Electronics Show 2024. These innovative smart glasses come equipped with a USB Type-C connection, providing compatibility with various devices supporting DisplayPort Alt mode over USB-C, including laptops, smartphones, and gaming consoles.

State-of-the-Art Display Technology

The Asus AirVision M1 features a Micro OLED display, delivering content in up to fullHD resolution. Boasting a peak brightness level of 1100 nits and 95% DCI-P3 color coverage, the glasses offer a remarkable 57-degree vertical field of view. To enhance eye comfort, the wearable display incorporates Asus "Eye Care" technology, minimizing flicker and reducing harmful blue light exposure.

User-Friendly Features and Functionality

The AirVision M1 employs three degrees of freedom positioning, allowing users to pin the virtual screen at a specific location relative to the device, even when looking elsewhere. When connected to a Windows PC, users can leverage the Asus Windows app to set up multiple virtual screens, resembling the experience of multiple physical displays.
