Apple introduces Apple Watch Pride Edition Bands

Apple has introduced a new Apple Watch band to celebrate June's Pride Month. The Pride Edition watch strap comes with a dynamic Pride watch face that supports the LGBTQ+ community. 

The first of these bands is called the Pride Edition Sports Loop. This removes some of the two-layer nylon fabric loops to reveal the word "Pride" written in the same font as the original "Hello" greeting on the first Macintosh in 1984. 

Apple says it has designed a new gradient that combines the colors of the rainbow with the various shades of the pride flag. A matching animated watch face named "Pride Thread" reflects the weaving loop of the sports loop.

The second band is called the "Pride Edition Nike Sport Loop" and, as you can imagine, comes with a full spectrum of rainbows that match the face of the Nike Bounce Apple Watch.

Besides the brand new bands, Apple can also be launching a shot iPhone marketing campaign with the intention to have a good time with pioneers with historical importance in the LGBTQ+ movement. The collection will function paintings from photographers Ryan McGinley, Evan Benally Atwood, Meinke Klein, Caia Ramalho, Lydia Metral, and Collier Schorr.
