News Synopsis

Cupertino-based tech giant Apple is reportedly developing a 13.6-inch MacBook Air, which is expected to launch in the second half of 2022.

The new MacBook Air has a 13.6-inch display, which is slightly larger than the current 13.3-inch model, said Ross Young, an advisor to the display industry, in a tweet.

The next MacBook is expected to be lighter and thinner. It can come out in similar colour options as the 24 inch iMac, such as blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange and purple. It can also feature off white bezels and a matching off-white keyboard instead of a black keyboard.

The MacBook Air will have USB-C ports, a 30W power adapter, full-sized function keys, multiple external display support, and a MagSafe charging connector. The company recently reveals a completely reimagined MacBook Pro powered by the all-new M1 Pro and M1 Max-the first chips designed for the Mac in 14 and 16-inch models.

The MacBook Pro, whether powered or plugged in, offers breakthrough processing, graphics, machine learning (ML) performance, as well as amazing battery life, the company said in a statement.
