Apple Macbooks are likely to come with M2 chips this year

According to the latest reports, United States based tech giant- Apple Incorporation is likely to launch its series of new MacBooks with its latest state of the art, M2 chip this year. M2 chips are based on TSMC’s 4 nm process. According to Mark Gurman, Apple is currently developing the M2 versions of the 13-inch MacBook Pro, 24-inch iMac, and Mac mini. Reports from Digitimes suggest that Apple could release some of these devices in the month of May or June. M2 is said to be better in processing speed and efficiency despite having the same 8-core CPU as M1 as it is built on a smaller node. However, it is believed that the GPU cores have been increased to 9 or 10 from 7 or 8 that features on M1 chip. TSMC is believed to launch its 3nm chips in the year 2023. Reports suggest that these initially, will be featured in new iPads. However,  analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that the Macbooks this year will come with the same M1 chip.
