According to a report of Mark Gurman in the latest edition of ‘Power On’ Apple is in the process to build a team for the launch and marketing of its new AR/VR headset. The company has recently hired Andrea Schubert, the communications and public relations head at Meta. 

It is believed that the headset will come with multiple highly sensitive 3D sensing modules that will offer innovative hand tracking. It will be used for gaming, media consumption, and communication. 

It will come with two processors, one with the same level of computing power as M1 and the other to handle input from various sensors. The new headset of Apple will be similar to the Oculus Quest, and some other prototypes. It will also have 15 camera modules including eye-tracking, iris recognition, costing between $2,000 and $3,000.
