News Synopsis

Adani Group’s power transmission and distribution branch, Adani Transmission is currently working on improving last-mile connectivity. The company believes it would not only help the consumers to the remotest corner of the nation but simultaneously also boost its growth. The company is looking forward to acquisitions of other companies as well. The company increased its transmission network from 749 km to 3,080 km in its last three quarters. Chief Executive Officer of Adani Transmission, Anil Sardana said: "Acquisition has been our very formidable growth paradigm in the transmission side and, we of course acquired the distribution business in Mumbai... (and)... the distribution business in Mundra. So, we will continue to look at various holdings of the private sector in the distribution as possible growth opportunities”.  Recently it was reported that India’s loss of power in distribution is highest amongst other nations. Adani transmission is looking forward to solve this issue in the coming years.
