High-speed mobile internet 5G service has been started in the country from October 1. Prime Minister Narendra Modi gifted 5G service to the country from Pragati Maidan in New Delhi. At present, Airtel and Jio have also started 5G connectivity in select cities. Many smartphone users, including Apple, are facing problems due to not getting updates for 5G till now. Now the Indian government may pressure Apple, Samsung, and other mobile phone makers to prioritize software upgrades to support 5G in the country.

Airtel said that many of its premium users use Apple iPhones and the company is concerned about the lack of 5G connectivity updates. Let us tell you that many iPhones including Apple's latest iPhone 14 in India and many Samsung flagship phones have not been released to support 5G and these smartphones are not 5G compatible in India. This is the reason why these smartphone users are not able to use 5G connectivity.
