Xiaomi has made another bold move in the electric vehicle market by officially introducing its first electric SUV, the YU7. Slated for an official launch in July, this marks Xiaomi’s second EV after the SU7 sedan, and its first entry into the electric SUV segment, intensifying competition with established brands like Tesla.

The launch of the Xiaomi YU7 SUV marks a significant step in the company’s ambition to become a major player in the global electric vehicle market.
With a bold design inspired by the SU7 sedan, advanced features like the 1.1-metre ultra-wide HyperVision infotainment screen, luxurious interiors, and industry-leading performance metrics, the YU7 is positioned to rival even the most established EV brands, including Tesla.
Its remarkable 835 km range, 681 bhp HyperEngine, and ultra-fast charging capabilities further reinforce Xiaomi’s engineering prowess and innovation in the EV space.
By offering high-end features at potentially competitive pricing, Xiaomi is not only entering the electric SUV segment — it’s aiming to disrupt it. As the official launch approaches in July, the YU7 is set to attract considerable attention from tech-savvy consumers and auto enthusiasts alike, solidifying Xiaomi’s transition from a tech brand to a formidable force in the electric mobility landscape.
