Vivo is set to expand its premium X-series in India with the launch of the new Vivo X200T. Known for its powerful camera capabilities, the brand is adding a new “T” variant to the X200 lineup, which already includes the X200 and X200 Pro. The smartphone will officially debut in India on January 27, 2026.
Vivo has officially confirmed that it will launch the Vivo X200T smartphone in India on January 27, 2026. The announcement was made through Vivo’s official X (formerly Twitter) handle. The Vivo X200T will become part of the X200 series, which was first introduced in 2024, further strengthening Vivo’s premium smartphone portfolio in the Indian market.
Vivo’s X-series is widely recognized for its exceptional camera performance, and the Vivo X200T continues that legacy. The company has confirmed that the smartphone will feature a ZEISS co-engineered triple rear camera system.
All three rear cameras are expected to feature 50-megapixel sensors. According to reports:
The primary camera will use the Sony LYT-702 sensor with Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS)
A 50MP periscope telephoto lens will handle long-range photography
A 50MP ultra-wide lens will be included for wide-angle shots

In terms of performance, Vivo is unlikely to compromise. The Vivo X200T is expected to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset, which is considered highly capable for gaming and heavy multitasking.
On the software front, the smartphone will run on Android 16-based OriginOS 6. This latest operating system was first introduced with the Vivo X300 series in December 2025, making the Vivo X200T one of the most up-to-date smartphones in terms of software.
Leaks and reports suggest that the Vivo X200T will feature a 6.67-inch AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, ensuring smooth visuals, vibrant colors, and an immersive viewing experience.
