Vivo is expected to launch the Vivo V70 series in India in February, possibly alongside the Vivo X200T. The new lineup is likely to bring upgraded Snapdragon and MediaTek chipsets, Zeiss-backed cameras, Android 16-based OriginOS 6, and large batteries, positioning Vivo strongly in the premium mid-range and near-flagship smartphone segments.
Vivo is expected to expand its smartphone lineup in India with the launch of the Vivo V70 series in February. According to a report by GSMArena, the company may introduce the Vivo V70 and Vivo V70 Elite as successors to the Vivo V60 and V60 Lite, which debuted in August and September 2025.
The report also suggests that the Vivo X200T could be unveiled around the same time. Additionally, Vivo is said to be planning a Vivo V70 FE (Fashion Edition) for the Indian market, although its launch may take place later.
According to GSMArena, the Vivo V70 lineup is expected to focus on performance, imaging, and AI-powered features, continuing Vivo’s premium mid-range strategy.

The Vivo V70 is reportedly a rebranded version of the Vivo S50, which launched in China in December 2025.
Expected specifications include:
6.59-inch AMOLED display
Slim and lightweight design typical of Vivo’s V-series
If the rebranding holds true, the Vivo V70 may offer:
Dual 50MP rear camera setup, including:
Primary sensor
Periscope telephoto lens
8MP ultra-wide camera
50MP front camera for selfies and video calls
In terms of performance:
Expected Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset
Up to 16GB RAM and 512GB internal storage
However, a GizChina report suggests the phone could use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 chipset instead
6,500mAh battery (expected)
Optimised for all-day usage with fast charging support
The Vivo X200T is expected to sit between the X200 and X200 FE models, offering a near-flagship experience at a more accessible price point.
Vivo has already teased the device on Flipkart, confirming:
Dark purple colour option
Circular rear camera module
Zeiss optics
OriginOS 6 out of the box
Expected hardware specifications include:
6.67-inch AMOLED display
1.5K resolution
120Hz refresh rate
Powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9400+ chipset
Up to 16GB RAM and 1TB storage
The Vivo X200T is tipped to feature a triple 50MP rear camera system, including:
Sony LYT-702 primary sensor
Samsung JN1 ultra-wide lens
50MP periscope telephoto camera
32MP front camera for selfies
6,200mAh battery
90W wired fast charging
40W wireless charging support
If the reports are accurate, Vivo’s February launch event could strengthen its presence in both the premium mid-range and affordable flagship segments. The V70 series is expected to appeal to users focused on design and photography, while the X200T could attract buyers looking for flagship-grade performance at a competitive price.
More details regarding pricing and exact launch dates are expected to surface closer to the official announcement.
