Vietnam-based electric vehicle manufacturer VinFast Auto India has launched its largest dealership in India in Chennai, Tamil Nadu, as it accelerates its entry into the Indian EV market. The new facility, located in the bustling Teynampet area, is being operated in collaboration with Maansarovar Motors, a renowned name in Chennai’s auto retail sector.
Spread across 4,700 sq. ft, the Teynampet showroom is not only VinFast’s first dealership in Tamil Nadu but also the company’s largest retail outlet in India so far. This Chennai facility is a part of VinFast’s broader plan to launch 35 dealerships across more than 27 Indian cities by the end of 2025.
The showroom will feature the company’s premium electric SUVs, notably the VinFast VF 6 and VF 7, which have already been made available for pre-bookings.
Pham Sanh Chau, CEO of VinFast Asia, expressed strong confidence in the Chennai market, calling it a strategic and culturally vibrant location for the company’s India debut in Tamil Nadu.
