Tesla has taken another major step toward establishing its presence in India by opening its first Supercharger station in Gurugram, Haryana. The move aligns with the company’s broader strategy to build a strong EV charging ecosystem in the country while supporting the rollout of the Tesla Model Y electric SUV.
The world-renowned electric car manufacturer Tesla has taken a significant step toward strengthening its footprint in India. The Elon Musk-owned company has officially inaugurated its first charging station in Gurugram, Haryana. Currently, Tesla sells the Model Y electric SUV in India, though the brand has seen a relatively slow start in terms of sales.
Recently, on November 27, 2025, Tesla also opened its first all-in-one center in Gurugram, marking another milestone in its India journey.
The newly launched Supercharger station has been set up at DLF Horizon Center on Golf Course Road, Gurugram. This comes shortly after the inauguration of the Tesla Center in the same city, making it the company’s second major achievement in Gurugram.
The Gurugram Supercharger station has been installed in the surface parking area of Horizon Center.
