Tencent Games, the largest gaming company in the world is planning to acquire Xiaomi’s BlackShark Gaming division in a deal worth approximately over $470 million. The BlackShark will undergo a transformation after the acquisition process is completed.
Under the deal, the company will focus on cooperation for the gaming phones that will provide users with an improved mobile gaming experience. Earlier Tencent games have partnered with ASUS for the launch of ROG Phone II and also the customized Elite version in China. BlackShark has also recently launched two gaming smartphones which are Black Shark 4 and Black Shark 4 PRO.
