Samsung Electronics has expanded its smart television lineup in India with the launch of four new Mini LED TV series. The newly introduced models — M2EH, M71H, M70H, and M80H — aim to deliver premium display technology and smart features at comparatively affordable prices.
Two of the newly launched televisions were initially showcased earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show 2026, one of the world’s biggest technology exhibitions. The TVs are positioned below Samsung’s premium Neo QLED and OLED television lineup in terms of both features and pricing, making Mini LED technology more accessible to a wider consumer base in India.
The new TV range comes in multiple screen sizes starting from 43 inches and extending up to 85 inches, catering to users looking for compact entertainment setups as well as large-screen home theatre experiences.
The four new 4K Mini LED TVs are M2EH, M71H, M70H, and the M80H, and they are available through Samsung India Official Website and authorised retail stores across the country.
Among the lineup, the M2EH is the most affordable model, while the M70H offers the largest display size at 85 inches.
All four TV series feature VA LCD panels with 4K resolution, Mini LED backlighting, and HDR10+ support. Mini LED technology allows for better brightness control and improved contrast compared to conventional LED televisions.
Unlike Samsung’s Neo QLED, QLED, and Lifestyle television lineup, these Mini LED models do not use quantum dot technology. As a result, their colour reproduction capabilities are slightly less advanced than the company’s higher-end premium televisions.
Lower-end models in the lineup use edge-lit Mini LED backlighting and support a 60Hz refresh rate, making them suitable for regular entertainment and streaming purposes.
The M80H stands out as the most premium model in the series. It supports up to a 144Hz refresh rate and uses full-array local dimming with Mini LED backlighting for improved contrast and smoother visuals.
The TVs also support 4K upscaling for lower-resolution content and include Filmmaker Mode (FMM), which preserves the original cinematic settings intended by filmmakers.
Samsung has included several gaming-focused features in the new Mini LED TVs, targeting console and PC gamers.
These technologies help reduce lag, improve motion smoothness, and enhance HDR gaming visuals.
The televisions are equipped with 30W stereo speakers and support multiple advanced audio technologies such as:
The M80H additionally features Adaptive Sound+ and Active Voice Amplifier for enhanced dialogue clarity and immersive sound performance.
The televisions are powered by Samsung’s Mini LED Processor 4K and run One UI Tizen based on the Tizen 10 operating system.
Samsung has promised software support and updates for up to seven years, which is becoming an important factor for consumers investing in smart home entertainment devices.
The TVs support popular streaming applications and include several smart features such as:
Additional features include AI Energy Mode, Karaoke Mode, Football Mode, and Samsung Knox security.
Samsung’s new Mini LED TVs include:
The TVs also support AirPlay 2, Smart View, and Multi View, enabling seamless connectivity with smartphones, tablets, and other smart devices.
With the launch of the M2EH, M71H, M70H, and M80H series, Samsung has further strengthened its position in India’s premium smart television market. The new Mini LED TV lineup combines advanced display technology, AI-powered smart features, gaming enhancements, and long-term software support at comparatively competitive prices.
As demand for high-quality home entertainment continues to grow in India, Samsung’s latest Mini LED TVs aim to bridge the gap between standard LED televisions and more expensive Neo QLED or OLED models. With screen sizes ranging from 43 inches to 85 inches and features such as HDR10+, One UI Tizen, VRR, and Vision AI Companion, the lineup is expected to appeal to both mainstream consumers and gaming enthusiasts looking for a premium viewing experience.
