Renault India has officially introduced the Triber facelift, its popular 7-seater compact MPV, with significant updates to both design and features. The refreshed Triber is the first product under Renault’s new “renault. rethink.” brand transformation initiative, reinforcing its commitment to the Indian market.
The 2025 Renault Triber facelift is priced competitively between Rs 6.29 lakh and Rs 9.16 lakh (ex-showroom). The model is available in four variants:
Authentic
Evolution
Techno
Emotion
The top-spec Emotion variant is also available with the Easy-R AMT gearbox, while all variants come with a 5-speed manual as standard.
The Triber facelift gets a redesigned front fascia that enhances its road presence. Key changes include:
A refreshed front grille
Sculpted hood
Updated front and rear bumpers
New LED projector headlamps with integrated LED DRLs
LED tail lamps, rear skid plate, and a taillamp-connecting garnish
These design upgrades bring a modern appeal to the MPV, making it look more upmarket while maintaining its practical stance.
Inside, the Triber now sports a dual-tone dashboard layout that houses an 8-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system. This display supports:
Wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay
Updated digital LED instrument cluster
Ambient LED cabin lighting
Premium seat upholstery redesign
Blacked-out door handles for a more refined cabin look
These additions enhance the tech quotient and overall premium feel of the cabin.
Renault continues with its “rethink space” philosophy by retaining the Triber’s unique modular seating configurations. The vehicle supports:
5-, 6-, or 7-seat configurations
Easy-Fix third-row seats that can be completely removed
Second-row seats that can slide, recline, fold, and tumble
The flexibility allows for over 100 seating combinations, with up to 625 liters of boot space in the 5-seater configuration, making it ideal for families.
Renault has significantly bolstered safety in the Triber facelift. Across all variants, the MPV now offers:
Six airbags as standard
Electronic Stability Program (ESP)
Tyre Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS)
Electronic Brakeforce Distribution (EBD) with Brake Assist
A total of 21 safety features, including rear and new front parking sensors, the latter being a segment-first
These safety enhancements make the new Triber one of the most secure offerings in the compact MPV segment.
The Triber facelift retains the 1.0-litre three-cylinder petrol engine that delivers:
72 PS of power at 6,250 rpm
96 Nm of torque at 3,500 rpm
Transmission options include a 5-speed manual gearbox for all variants and an Easy-R AMT for the top-end Emotion variant.
Renault highlighted that the new Triber is over 90% localized, manufactured at the company’s Chennai facility. The model is not only tailored for Indian families but also contributes to exports in over a dozen countries. So far, the Triber has garnered over 1.84 lakh customers in India alone.
The Triber facelift comes with a 3-year standard warranty, which can be extended up to 7 years under the Renault Secure Program. Additionally, the car is compatible with government-approved CNG retrofit kits, backed by a 3-year warranty, offering more value and flexibility to eco-conscious buyers.
According to Venkatram Mamillapalle, Managing Director of Renault India, the Triber facelift demonstrates the company’s dedication to Indian customers through localization, affordability, and innovation.
Francisco Hidalgo, VP of Sales & Marketing at Renault India, added that the new Triber reflects the brand’s deep understanding of Indian family needs, balancing engineering efficiency, modularity, and value-driven design.
Renault operates over 350 sales outlets and 450 service touchpoints across India. Bookings for the Triber facelift began on July 23, 2025, with deliveries expected to follow shortly.
