The Redmi Note 15 5G is set to officially launch in India on January 6, 2026, with sales confirmed via Amazon and the Xiaomi India online store. Ahead of the launch, the smartphone’s India pricing, RAM and storage variants, along with key specifications, have surfaced online, offering a clear picture of what buyers can expect.
The upcoming Redmi Note series phone will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, feature a 108MP camera, and pack a 5,520mAh battery, positioning it as a strong contender in the upper mid-range 5G smartphone segment.
According to a leak shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) on X, the Redmi Note 15 5G is expected to be priced as follows in India:
₹22,999 for the 8GB RAM + 128GB storage variant
₹24,999 for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant
If these prices are accurate, the Indian variant would be priced significantly lower than the global version, while also offering higher RAM as standard.
For reference, the Redmi Note 15 5G was launched in Poland earlier this month at a starting price of PLN 1,199 (around ₹30,000) for the 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
Globally, the handset is available in the following colour options:
Black
Glacier Blue
Mist Purple
The Indian variant is expected to follow a similar colour lineup.
Xiaomi has officially confirmed that the Redmi Note 15 5G will be available for purchase via:
Amazon India
Xiaomi India online store
A dedicated Amazon microsite for the smartphone has already gone live and has been updated with confirmed specifications and feature highlights ahead of launch.
The Redmi Note 15 5G will feature a 6.77-inch curved AMOLED display with the following specifications:
120Hz refresh rate
Up to 3,200 nits peak brightness
Hydro Touch 2.0 technology for improved touch responsiveness, even with wet fingers
TÜV Triple Eye Care certification
These features aim to deliver a smooth, bright, and eye-friendly viewing experience.
The smartphone will carry an IP66 rating, offering protection against dust and water exposure. This adds to its durability credentials, especially in everyday usage conditions.
The Indian variant of the Redmi Note 15 5G will be powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 6 Gen 3 chipset, the same processor used in the global model.
According to Xiaomi, the chipset offers:
10% GPU performance boost
30% improvement in CPU performance
Up to 48 months of lag-free performance
This makes it suitable for multitasking, gaming, and long-term use.
The handset will be equipped with a 5,520mAh battery, which Xiaomi claims can deliver up to 1.6 days of usage on a single charge.
Charging support includes:
45W wired fast charging
For photography, the Redmi Note 15 5G will feature:
108-megapixel MasterPixel primary rear camera
Optical Image Stabilisation (OIS)
4K video recording support
This camera setup positions the phone strongly for users focused on photography and video capture.
