Bollywood star and entrepreneur Ranbir Kapoor has made a strategic investment in Prozo, a full-stack supply chain platform. The undisclosed investment was officially announced on August 5, 2025, further bolstering Prozo’s mission to revolutionize India’s logistics and fulfillment sector.
Prozo’s Founder and CEO, Ashvini Jakhar, welcomed Kapoor on board, highlighting the synergy between the actor’s vision and the company’s operational philosophy.
“Ranbir brings creative depth and strategic thinking. His belief in reliable operations mirrors our ethos, and we’re excited to build with his support,”
said Jakhar, a former naval doctor and McKinsey consultant who launched Prozo in 2016.
Headquartered in Gurugram, Prozo offers an integrated technology stack that unifies warehousing, freight, and fulfillment services. Over 150 brands leverage Prozo’s digital infrastructure to streamline their logistics across B2B, D2C, and marketplace channels.
Clients include:
🟢 The Minimalist
🟢 Neemans
🟢 Comet
🟢 Beardo
🟢 Snitch
🟢 Traya
🟢 Powerlook
🟢 PhonePe
“Every brand today needs speed, consistency and adaptability...Prozo’s systems give brands that edge. I’ve seen how great execution builds trust—and Prozo is enabling that behind the scenes,”
said Kapoor, who has been increasingly active in the startup ecosystem.
Earlier this year, Ranbir Kapoor launched his own lifestyle and apparel brand, ARKS, in February 2025, signaling his interest in consumer brands and scalable tech-backed ventures. His investment in Prozo complements this move, offering backend logistics synergy with his own retail ambitions.
With Kapoor’s investment and other strategic backers, Prozo plans to:
Expand its warehousing footprint to more Indian cities
Provide tailored solutions for quick commerce and MSMEs
Enhance automation and predictive analytics
Strengthen same-day and next-day delivery capabilities
Currently, Prozo operates:
42 tech-enabled warehouses
Covering 2.2 million sq ft
Delivering to 24,000+ pin codes across India
Clocking a revenue run-rate of ₹250 crore
Ranbir Kapoor is not the first high-profile name to back Prozo. In June 2025, Indian cricket star Rohit Sharma also made a strategic investment in the startup, further cementing its growing brand appeal and investor confidence.
Prozo had previously raised $20 million from notable investors like:
Sixth Sense Ventures
JAFCO Asia
These funds have helped the company enhance its tech stack, grow its client base, and scale operations nationally.
With high-profile investors and a tech-first approach, Prozo is positioning itself as a leader in India’s booming logistics and fulfillment space. The company is expected to play a pivotal role in enabling faster, smarter, and more scalable supply chains for emerging and established brands alike.
OpenAI’s new safety features in ChatGPT demonstrate a forward-thinking approach to AI responsibility, especially in the context of mental health. As millions increasingly turn to AI for conversation, advice, and emotional support, these safeguards—such as encouraging users to “take a break” and limiting responses in sensitive moments—aim to prevent emotional overreliance and promote real-world well-being.
Partnering with mental health experts has helped OpenAI craft interventions that are not only technically sound but also psychologically mindful. These changes reflect a growing awareness that AI, while powerful, is not a substitute for human connection or professional care. Instead, ChatGPT is being redesigned as a tool that can support users without crossing ethical boundaries.
In doing so, OpenAI is setting a precedent for the broader AI industry: that empathy, caution, and user safety must guide innovation. Ultimately, these updates are a step toward ensuring AI uplifts users while respecting the limits of its role.
