A big news is coming out related to the airline Akasa Air, which is invested by Indian stock market veteran Rakesh Jhunjhunwala. Akasa Air has got the airline license from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation DGCA, the regulatory body of civil aviation services.
Given the information from the airline, it has been told that it has got Air Operator Certificate (AOC) from DGCA. It is further told that now the company can start airlines soon. After getting the license from DGCA, it can be expected that Akasa Air can start its first commercial air service by the last week of July.
It is estimated that from July 15, ticket booking will start in Akasa Air. In a conversation with the media a few days ago, Vinay Dubey, the CEO of the airline company, had also indicated this. We are delighted to announce the receipt of our Air Operator Certificate (AOC) on the official Twitter handle of Akasa Air after getting the airline license from DGCA. This could be an important milestone. Now we have been able to start commercial flight services.
