News Synopsis

OPPO has announced the launch of its latest K-series smartphone, the OPPO K12x 5G, which is set to debut in India on July 29, 2024. The company has revealed several key highlights of the device, including its design, color options, durability, display features, battery capacity, and charging speed.

Design and Durability OPPO K12x 5G

The OPPO K12x 5G will be available in two elegant color options: Breeze Blue and Midnight Violet. The smartphone boasts a sleek, flat design and features a vertically aligned dual-camera setup on its rear.

This setup is complemented by a ring-shaped LED flash, known as the Cosmic Flashlight. Notably, the camera design resembles that of the recently launched OnePlus Nord CE4 5G.

The OPPO K12x 5G is designed to be both slim and lightweight, measuring just 7.68 mm in thickness and weighing 186 grams. It is built with durability in mind, featuring an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance.

The smartphone also incorporates a 360-degree Damage-Proof Armour Body, which uses a drop-resistant material to cushion internal components and absorb shocks. Additionally, the device holds the MIL-STD-810H certification, underscoring its robust build quality.

Display and Other Specifications

The OPPO K12x 5G is equipped with a 6.67-inch HD+ display that supports a high 120 Hz refresh rate and boasts a peak brightness of 1,000 nits. The display is also certified with Widevine L1, ensuring high-quality video streaming.

A standout feature is the Splash Touch technology, which allows users to interact with the touchscreen even when their hands or the screen are wet. The display is further protected by twice-reinforced Panda Glass, enhancing its durability against scratches and impacts.

Under the hood, the OPPO K12x 5G houses a robust 5,100 mAh battery that supports 45W SuperVOOC fast charging. The fast charger required for this charging speed is included in the box, making it convenient for users to charge their device quickly.

In addition to these features, the smartphone is equipped with AI Linkboost technology, which improves signal strength and network stability in challenging environments such as elevators, basements, and crowded areas.

Another notable feature is Dual View Video, which allows users to simultaneously record videos using both the front and rear cameras, offering a unique perspective for video content creation.
